Using a practice known as “caller ID spoofing,” disreputable parties can deliberately falsify the telephone number relayed as the Caller ID number to disguise the identity and originator of the call. Congress is currently considering new laws that would make this practice a crime and permit law enforcement authorities to take action against spoofers.

Nervous Guy Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Last night my cordless home phone rang. I looked at the caller ID number and it was my phone number So my home phone was calling my home phone! This has never happened before. Anybody know what could cause this? Are my phone calls being track? Bugged? I am on the New York State Do not call list for telemarketers. Delusional disorder is classified as a psychotic disorder, a disorder where a person has trouble recognizing reality. Frequently the delusions involve circumstances that could occur in reality even though they are unlikely (for example, your phone calling itself). Themes of persecution are common (calls being tracked or bugged). This is interesting that you brought this to our attention since people with delusional disorder are aware that their beliefs are "unique" and they generally do not talk about them. Treatment for this disorder is challenging, especially if the delusion is long lasting. Antipsychotic medications can be helpful.

Beerball Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I'll put in a good word for you next time. It would be inappropriate of me to point out that hopefully that's the only thing you'll be putting in next time. Afterall, this is a man's wife we're speaking about.
Nervous Guy Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Is Don Julio Tequilla considered proper medication? worth a try I guess.
Chef Jim Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Is Don Julio Tequilla considered proper medication? Not only proper but required.
KD in CA Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Really? No one commented on this? Such a great movie! I was a little disappointed myself Joshua, considering how many children of the '80s we have around here.
