UConn James
A lot of people I know are hooking up to their HDTVs. What kind of connections does your PC have? HDMI? VGA (15?-pin) port? Most TVs have these connections. It can do double duty.
Stl Bills
Go to geeks.com or www.tigerdirect.com for great deals. I just ordered a 32 inch LCD 720p for my monitor, I was going to go with a 42 inch but some people told me that would be too big bc I'd be sitting close to it and it would hurt my eyes. I run dual monitors at work and couldn't go back to a regular monitor....you should either look into dual monitors or one huge one. As far as brands go I don't think it matters, I have Westinghouse (off brand) and Samsungs at work....can't tell the difference. /dev/null
I bought a 28" flat panel no name ("Hanns G") from New Egg about 2 years ago and have loved it every since Get something with built in speakers and supports HDMI. Like an earlier poster said, the monitor can pull double duty. Know your work space and your needs. Don't get something too small. I had a 19" before the 28", and now the 19" sits next to the 28" for my other computer. Looking at the 2 monitors side by side I wonder how I ever lived with such a small display That said, don't get something too big either
Jim in Anchorage
I really think some of you people ought to look into getting glasses.

BuffaloBill
Go to geeks.com or www.tigerdirect.com for great deals. Not sure where you live in Dallas but Tiger Direct just opened a very large retail store on the east side of the Tollway and just north of 635. I've not been in yet but if they offer good online deals it might be handy to see what they have in the store.
