KellyToTasker Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Great news! The NFL did the Bills organization a tremendous favor. I for one will be in attendance. I live in Pensacola, FL.....About a 40 minute ride to Mobile, Al. Hopefully I'll make a practice or two.
NeverOutNick Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Whose coaching north team? Just wondering...
LynchMob23 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Bengals coach North Team. It goes by (if mem serves) worst record with a team that A) has a staff and B) wants to coach it. If you go on http://www.seniorbowl.com/oldrosters.asp you can read their pressers after every draft to see how many staffs use this as a tool while coaching the kids and "smelling their breath" as buddy says.
Dirtbag Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 i really feel for the inside linebackers. those poor guys will be completely directionless.
zow2 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Cool. Weren't all the practices mic'd up and on NFL network last year? That would be awesome to hear Chan and his crew coach these kids. Great insight for Bills fans. Hope they do it again
Thoner7 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 This is perfect for us - we need all the help we can get. There are some good names on that roster so hopefully we get a lot of them. I exoect a few more to join too.
Pirate Angel Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I wonder how they choose this. Totally random? Any non-playoff team? Does not everyone eligible volunteer? evidently they take 2 NFL coaching staffs that are most suited to coach at the college level
JM57 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I wonder how they choose this. Totally random? Any non-playoff team? Does not everyone eligible volunteer? I'm assuming it goes in the same order as the draft, with the staff able to accept or decline. Obviously the team must have a coaching staff in place to even get the invite, thus it is a possibility that the Bills had first dibs on it with Carolina and Denver not having their new head coaches selected.

A few words from Chan.
