DrDawkinstein Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 http://twitter.com/MaybinsUniform I dont even want to be worn anymore. Im like the grandparents in "Willy Wonka" I've been sitting here so long... #Bills I had that dream again last night. Where i could feel the sun on my threads, as a poor african boy wore me while running.. #DreamsOfDonation
Johnny Hammersticks Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 LOL!! What a loser. Seriously, this guy is an embarrassment. I can't wait until he is cut during training camp. Then, he and his jersey can curl up and have a good cry together.
Bangarang Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I'm trying to think what's more pathetic. The fact that somebody with too much time on their hands is actively maintaining a twitter account based on Maybin's unused uniform. Or the fact that Maybin's unused uniform's twitter account has 29 followers.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 http://twitter.com/MaybinsUniform It's lonely when you're on the outside, looking in. I wish him well - can't they help him come up with more productive activities?
1B4IDie Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I wonder if the #58 jersey longs for the day when Martez Wilson will fill it out.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Wonder if it Tweets stuff like, oops I got my knee dirty, oh I am staying so clean today not being used.
TC in St. Louis Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 The comments that follow the concept are meaningless. The concept of creating a Twitter account for Maybin's uniform is really funny. It's a one-note, Onion like concept that should stand on its own merit as excellent parody.
DrDawkinstein Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 "Ryan Fitzpatricks razor got more action than you did all season." They didnt even let me dry his face afterwards Ive made really great friends with the playbook... He, too, has not seen the light of day in 2010
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 This is funny and creative. I wonder if Maybin is giving his all and just can't get it, or is just along for the ride while collecting his $$

C.Biscuit97 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 (edited) LOL!! What a loser. Seriously, this guy is an embarrassment. I can't wait until he is cut during training camp. Then, he and his jersey can curl up and have a good cry together. Who's the loser: the guy making millions to play a game or the person crying about it on an internet board? You make the call. brenty Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 HOLY CRAP!!!!! why cant anyone actually click on the link and realize its a joke.
Dirtbag Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 HOLY CRAP!!!!! why cant anyone actually click on the link and realize its a joke. probably because it's not particularly funny. the concept seems to have promise, but in practice it's classic "meh" material.
Sisyphean Bills Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I don't get it. How does it twitter from inside the plastic bag?
Bob in STL Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I wonder if the #58 jersey longs for the day when Martez Wilson will fill it out. # 58 - I still think of Mike Stratton. Then Shane Conlan. Maybin is not worthy of that jersey.
DrDawkinstein Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 probably because it's not particularly funny. the concept seems to have promise, but in practice it's classic "meh" material. ehh, looks like its only been going for a few days. wouldve been nice to have had during the season.
Dirtbag Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 ehh, looks like its only been going for a few days. wouldve been nice to have had during the season. good point. the launch seems poorly timed.
TC in St. Louis Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I think the concept was really funny, and could've stood on its own merits. It didn't need anything. Here's another example: a few years ago in the chat room, somebody said, "the Bills could use a turnover." and somebody said, "What kind, apple or cherry?" That was followed by about 90 different types of turnover jokes. When the premise only needed the first one. That was the funny one. Just like the concept of a useless player's jersey signing up for its own Twitter account. Good one.
