Simon Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 The next time you manage to move the ball a little in a pre-preseason scrimmage, it would probably behoove y'all to STFU about it. Sincerely, . . Your Daddy

duey Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 It's good having a B word once in a while, isn't it?
34-78-83 Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 See what???? Definitely not Clevelands offense right? 157580 I signed up for a scrimmage pitting the Bills against the local high school team wearing Cleveland Brown Unis. Am I missing something here?

Am I missing something here? Nope. But you should have waited a year for a more competitive game when they're slated to move up to 3A.
RuntheDamnBall Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 The crazy thing is that this offense put up 48 points against our next opponent. Did Holcomb make that much of a difference? Should be interesting to see how Cincy plays this one as they are essentially out of it. They have been playing well lately but today's loss was a death-blow as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah I think Holcomb is a huge difference. When you take the leash off him he'll throw it downfield all day without hesitation; sort of like that Favre w/o a conscience you sometimes see. And while we may feel that Cincy's loss was a death-blow for them, I bet you the players won't feel that way at all. The Bengals just became a wounded animal backed into a corner, and if we play the kind of ball we've played 4 of the last 8 quarters we're going to get our asses kicked. Cya
34-78-83 Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I believe we'll need 28 to 30 points to beat Cinci next week.

Cya 157611 I think if the Bills can play the kind of game they played against Seattle, with better play from the secondary to match Cincy's better receivers, this one goes in Buffalo's column. The defense is just making things happen and keeping the offense afloat in times of trouble, and we saw last week that the offense is capable of doing the same. You're half right about Holcomb, though it seems like coming off the bench and lighting it up is his forte. He was dreadful when they made him the man last year.

bobblehead Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Someone ought to be sending Ross Verba a whole basket full of cheeseburgers his way.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I liked when the Criqui/Tasker monster questioned how the hell did Luke McCown last until the fourth round after he got ten yards against us.
