BuffaloinLA Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 if the Bills had not drafted at all in 2010. the team would have been no different and would have had the same record. i.e. not a single player from the draft had any impact the entire season! I see rookies contributing on all of the playoff teams but not on a 4-12 Bills team. what makes anybody think that a) any of the 2010 draftees will blossom in 2011 b) our so-called "build through the draft" will lead to better results in the future
billsfan89 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Carrington and Troup being productive players for our front 7. Spiller on the other hand who knows he has a lot of potential and flashes it once in a while but all in all its up to Chan to figure out what to do with him.
bowery4 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Not to mention 2 of our draft choices were IR'd maybe Batten and Easely will be good next year . We did get some production from UDFAs. I hope we have a good draft and FAs next year.
wooly22 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) Don't cross the Moats!!! There were a hand full of games that one play going our way would have been a "W", and that was against quality teams. I am still looking at the glass being half full, and I can't wait to see who we target in FA and the draft. Edited January 3, 2011 by wooly22
Pirate Angel Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 If our rookies where on playoff teams they would have contributed more...youre only as good as the people around you. Do you actually think that those rookie tightends in New England are that good?
finknottle Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 if the Bills had not drafted at all in 2010. the team would have been no different and would have had the same record. Don't forget the extra cap space. Spiller signed a 5 year $25 million dollar contract with incentives bringing it up to $37.5 million. What would that get you on the free agent market?
