Chef Jim
8 months sober as of yesterday, then again I had to go to rehab to accomplish that. I was sober for 10 years from 1990-2000. Was able to do it on my own. Not easy. Keep it up man.

Captain Caveman
Gee.I gave up booze eight years ago. Don't miss it at all... It's also been years for me. I miss it all the time, but it certainly can be done, and in my case I'm better off for it.
Pine Barrens Mafia
I have no trouble not drinking. I usually only drin once every couple of months, and could easily stop that. Now other vices, not so much.

Chilly
Honestly, I think quitting drinking is a horrible idea. Livers are evil, evil things that MUST be destroyed.

I mean, consider if half this board was TOTALLY brain damaged, rather than just partially....

Richmond_Bills
I had my last drink on NYE. My goal is to drink no alcohol of any kind until the SB. Started Weight Watchers Online which allows it, but figured I needed a good detox and jump start.

I only drink on weekend so by Thursday I'm really looking forward to Friday. My staff knows that if we all go out for lunch on Friday it needs to be someplace to get a beer of glass of wine.
