The Dean Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 What am I missing here? Why did the bus driver have to resign?
ajzepp Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Did the bus swerve over into the other lane to take out the snowman? I don't understand why the driver resigned either.
KD in CA Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 The snowman's creators certainly seemed to find it funny, why couldn't the transit authority?
ExiledInIllinois Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I am guessing that the TA thought it was bad judgement... Could have been a real person???? That is bizarre becuase the snowman was built IN the road. Obviously the driver made a judgement call and the right one... What is the big deal!
Chef Jim Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Did the bus swerve over into the other lane to take out the snowman? I don't understand why the driver resigned either. Yes he swerved into the other lane to take out the snowman.
Ramius Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Can't they nail the kids for reckless endangerment by building the snowman in the road? Either nail both parties or let both walk.
The Dean Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Can't they nail the kids for reckless endangerment by building the snowman in the road? Either nail both parties or let both walk. Based on the article, I'd say they both walked. I don't find anything that suggests charges were filed against either party.
Chef Jim Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Based on the article, I'd say they both walked. I don't find anything that suggests charges were filed against either party. There's no proof the kids put the snowman there (though it's safe to say they probably did). There is proof however the bus driver committed a dangerous act with city property. He should be reprimanded and/or fired.
ieatcrayonz Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Based on the article, I'd say they both walked. I don't find anything that suggests charges were filed against either party. They sounded stoned to me.
boyst Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Does Frosty have a lawyer yet? Call 8 5 4 TWENY TWENTY!
Nanker Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Call 8 5 4 TWENY TWENTY! Have YOU been hurt in an accident? Call... we can get you money.
BB27 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 The snowman was obviously jaywalking in violation of the local ordinance. I say the bus driver did a service to all of humanity.....
