Never NEVER Give-up
Polian's a homebody - he would have stayed. He is not related to Lou Saban who was always looking for the next best thing. Polian likes to turn his current situation into the next best thing. It's too bad he couldn't live with Littman & vice-versa. There was a greater good they could not come to agree on - egos got in the way. Truely sad. He is a very special football man - I'll always be pulling for him!! Jeff Wright's Mullet
For those that don't know this is his last year as GM of the Colts as his son Chris will be assuming the day to day GM duties. He is going to take an advisory role with the Colts (a la Parcells with Miami). He could conceiveably be hired away from the Colts for the right price and role but not here while Jeffrey Littman is still Ralph's right hand bean counter. Thank god Ralph kept Littman and fired Polian.

He's the one that helped build those Super Bowl Teams of the 90s.
Bob in STL
...Bill Polian hired as Bills General Manager. He was hired with no fanfare at all. He was not a big name. Ralph hired from within, as usual. Sometimes loyalty pays off? I just wish he could have stayed. Not only was he responsible for one of the best teams in football when here in Buffalo, he's done the same damn thing in Indy.
