Chef Jim Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 How does it work? And no thanks. That's one thing I don't need. Something that's going to get more alcohol in me quicker.
bartshan-83 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 SICK! Put me on the list. How does it work? Looks like there is a hole in every cup. then they drop in a rubber gasket and cardboard-looking circle piece. The pressure of the liquid creates an air-tight seal.
Beerball Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 youtube.com/watch?v=i2vWwjdwt4Q And http://www.Bottomsupbeer.com/videos.php Wow, that gives good head.
stevestojan Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Awesome. Fastest fill without all sorts of foam. But how does it know when to stop? Just set to dispense exactly 16ozs I presume?
ExiledInIllinois Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 This is how it works. youtube.com/watch?v=B-sOgG3h6l0&NR=1 I'd hate to get a malfunctioning cup/seal pog... Or if you place the cup on an uneven surface that pushes the pog up.
BillsFanNC Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 That is pretty cool, but the only advantage that I can see is that is allows clueless servers the ability to serve a large number of people rapidly. So it works great at sporting events and the like so that people can get their crappy beer quicker. And from what I can see it connects to a regular draft system so the foaming issue would still be a problem if you don't have your draft system properly calibrated, just as it would for a traditional draft pour.
BuffaloBill Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Boring it's still just a glass of beer.
Kevin Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Boring it's still just a glass of beer. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TO YOUOOOOOOOOOOOOO
