1billsfan Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Pats 18 rushing touchdowns Bills 6 rushing touchdowns Pats 9 turnovers Bills 33 turnovers Seems the Bills should be able to solidify the offensive line which is good at both run and pass blocking this off season, right? Also, reducing turnovers should be a rather easy thing to fix, right? Although yesterday's game sucked, with the right puzzle pieces put in place and more focus be brought to protecting the ball, they should still be pretty good next year.
High Mark Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) Some people try to find things in this game that don't exist but football is only two things - blocking and tackling. - Vince Lombardi Now I would be the first to admit that since it is no longer the 1960s you could add a third thing, - superstar QB - to that quote. But its pretty obvious what he is saying. The core of the team is the offensive and defensive lines and linebackers. Hmmm, isnt it strange that the Bills stink and their weakest areas are OL, DL, and LB (followed closely by QB IMO) Isnt it also weird that the teams that consistently win in this league, like the Pats*, Steelers, Ravens, Giants, etc always are strong in these key areas? What a coincidence!?!?!?! Note to the Bills Front Office The key is not RBs, DBs, or WRs. Please change you asinine ways this coming offseason. Regards, Bills fans everywhere. DC Tom Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Football is in fact SO simple, that success can be reduced to cutting Donte Whitner.
Got_Wood Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Couldn't be more right on. The talent argument is getting old. I would argue that we have equal or better RB's and WR's talent-wise. The Pats biggest advantage over us is their O-line, D-line (although somewhat weaker this season), Linebackers, and QB. Build those trenches up and we'll be in much better shape next year. Don't just SAY we're going to do it... actually DO IT.
