Adam Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 To get away from the back and forth insults, how about I pose this question about the origins of the Big Bang- What if our universe isn't everything and was just part of a greater whole- that solves what could have led to the Big Bang creating the Universe that we exist in. It doesn't solve the problem about how existance itself began. A problem that I find hard to believe will ever be solved. Not definitively, at least.

There may have been a infinite number of big bangs in the same Universe-a endless cycle of expansion/contraction. We just live in one of them. As far as if God exists, only the dead know and they ain't talking.
Magox Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 As far as if God exists, only the dead know and they ain't talking. Oh yes they are, they talk to me all the time... YOu know that mountain you were talking about? yup, up there.
Jim in Anchorage Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Oh yes they are, they talk to me all the time... Your know that mountain you were talking about? yup, up there. I guess you weren't kidding about the mushrooms. Do you also go in a smoke hut to meet your ancestors?

Jim in Anchorage Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Is there another way? The "visit" my be longer then intended. Don't want to see em that bad, they probably speak bad English. Will wait for the next big bang.

I already answered this. You shouldn't even have to ask.

Adam Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 THIS is why I consider you people idiots. I already answered this. You shouldn't even have to ask. My apologies. I didn't realize you answered somebody's question. I didn't mean to piss in your coffee. I was merely speculating on a topic that I find intriguing.

Please submit the galactic axial coordinates of the epicenter to NASA and Gene.
whateverdude Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 (edited) Just conner's. And Holcomb's Arm's. Really, what's the sense in arguing belief. It's not empirical, it's completely subjective. Arguing about it is like contemplating the color of the inside of a brick. Faith is a requirement of making choices in life. You first have to have belief and faith in the scientific method and belief that it is the "right" method to explain what is known before you use it or else whats the point. I've said that already, too. Do any of you actually read others' posts?

whateverdude Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 I've said that already, too. Do any of you actually read others' posts? No not really...to tell you the truth Tom, I'm only really interested in what I have to say.
DC Tom Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 No not really...to tell you the truth Tom, I'm only really interested in what I have to say. That makes one of us. Still one more than is interested in what I have to say.
ieatcrayonz Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Ricky Gervais Christmas photo I wonder is anything is on the front of the t-shirt.
Adam Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) Well, first you had Tom Breshnahan's offense and there was nothing. Ted Marchibroda arrives and bang! Tons of energy. Problem is that we all know that Marchibroda was the coordinator before Breshnahan. I will have to hypothosize and hypotanuse about this. Edited December 27, 2010 by Adam
ieatcrayonz Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I will have to hypothosize and hypotanuse about this. I think Ricky tried to use a hypotanuse but couldn't find any rope so he used the oven.
RkFast Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I wish I could nail SE Cupp, but she does a FINE job of nailing Frenkle and his ilk in this piece: http://www.nydailynews.com/opinions/2010/12/29/2010-12-29_the_arrogance_of_the_atheists_they_batter_believers_with_smug_certainty.html
