Yeah, I was thinking Lead, South Dakota probably doesn't have any skyscrapers or public transit systems either........

My wife's best friend since 5th grade lives in Barneveld about 10 miles south of Boonville...

and I had read somewhere a while back that we have more days of sunshine here in WNY than some parts of Florida

What's funny to me is that Buffalo has only won the Snowfall Derby 4 times. There's a "friendly" competition between Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse. Buffalo's won 4, Rochester 3, and Syracuse something like 25 years. And Buffalo has the bad national rep. Of course, if they measured in the South Towns they might get a whole different number.

Syracuse set a record for snow fall in December and that was last week. They get much more snow than Buffalo...
