bartshan-83 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 In honor of my man, Sage. My Lunch Get em bro...just think, 13 meals down only 1083 to go!
Beerball Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 In honor of my man, Sage. My Lunch Get em bro...just think, 13 meals down only 1083 to go! Damn, that's some raunchy looking stojan! (and I'm not a member of the anti-lentil crowd) Today I'm thinking about a nice double cheeseburger & fries for lunch.
Cugalabanza Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I had some meatless meatloaf the other day that was made from lentils. It tasted like lentils.
Chef Jim Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I had some meatless meatloaf the other day that was made from lentils. It tasted like lentils crap. Do I have to fix everyone's post today?
Chef Jim Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 French green lentils for a change in diet. Lentilles du puy?
Captain Caveman Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Last night I finished up some homemade shaker lemon pie. Tonight it's split pea soup made from the leftover Christmas ham (including stock from scratch.)
Chef Jim Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Last night I finished up some homemade shaker lemon pie. Tonight it's split pea soup made from the leftover Christmas ham (including stock from scratch.) Lentil soup goes well with ham too. And I know it will taste so much better than the plain crap Sage is eating. Even if you can't cook for **** I know it will be better just due to the ham component.
BuffaloBill Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Tonight it's split pea soup CC I applaud you for your efforts. However, I consider pea soup to be the most foul food there is ... period. I will actually eat most anything but not split pea soup. Growing up my mother made us eat whatever she prepared for dinner. Her quote was "I am not your personal chef." She made split pea soup one night and I offered to simply go without eating. Being a strict and hard headed german she made me eat it. That was until I puked it up all over the table. She never made me eat it again.
BuffaloBill Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Your mother was doing it wrong. My dad and sister loved it.
Chef Jim Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 That was until I puked it up all over the table. My link
plenzmd1 Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) Her quote was "I am not your personal chef." HAHA, I said that to my kids last night. Marinated Grilled Pork Tenderloin and asparagus last night..my training regiman has begun and I like pork tenderloin more than chicken breast, and nutionally they are aout the same, pork maybe just a wee bit leaner Edited January 6, 2011 by plenzmd1
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 Day 6 and still going strong! And I've been pinned!
Beerball Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 This is pinned? Must have been a mod with a sense of humor, let me think...hey, who pinned this?
BuffaloBill Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Must have been a mod with a sense of humor, This eliminates me from consideration
