Well prepare to get your buzz (and your scream) on this weekend! Genny Cream Ale observes 50th anniversary with a sale Rochester’s Genesee Brewing Co. will mark the 50th anniversary of Genesee Cream Ale on Saturday by selling 24-ounce cans for 50 cents at 56 area Wilson Farms and Sugar Creek stores. There is a limit of two cans per person while supplies last. The stores taking part in the promotion are across the Rochester region and into the Southern Tier. I'm pretty sure they made all of the Genny CA 50 years ago and are still working through the original supply. Kinda like Peeps, Necco wafers and baseball card bubble gum.
