CowgirlsFan Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Anything involving the chipmunks just flat out sucks .... It sucks but isn't it amazing that after all this time it plays a part each year at Christmas.
Chef Jim Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 It sucks but isn't it amazing that after all this time it plays a part each year at Christmas. Meh, so does fruitcake.
Mark Vader Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I like that one, but in moderation. I wouldn't listen to it on repeat, but if it comes on the radio, I'll listen. Now "Santa Baby" by Madonna, I can't change the station fast enough. AMEN
boyst Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 No need to start a new thread because this one fits... I have lived in NC for 5 years after being born in Brockport and raised in Toledo for 17 years. I can never get over this seasonal difference. It was 63 degrees here today. 63! We have had a few dustings of snow and some bitter cold this year but it does not feel like Christmas. It is cool, everything is wet and mushy. The only thing that makes me feel like it is Christmas is music and over the years it has been losing its power. If not for Sirius' Holiday channels I would be a Scrooge. If they call for 1/2" of snow here or temps under 35 degrees then everything is done. Milk, bread and beer will be sold out everywhere. Ya'll up in NY and where there is actual snowfall just do not know how nice it is to have white Christmas' and snow. All we have in the South is Christmas music to set the scene.
bbb Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I think I'm one of the few, but I love the snow here.....Except on 12/2 - 3 feet in 24 hours to start the season was very frustrating.
