ofiba Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 (edited) Anyone watching the Jets/Dolphins game? The Dolphins punted and one of the gunners was pushed out of bounds and running full speed down the sideline. There was what I assume was a Jets player dressed in street clothes standing on the sidelines. As the Dolphin passed, the Jet deliberately stuck his knee out and made contact with the Dolphin player's upper knee/lower thigh. The Dolphin's player was injured on the play. Real gutsy of the Jets player to do on the sidelines in street clothes. I'm sure there will be video of it out soon. Edited December 12, 2010 by ofiba
Dan Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Saw it. How was it not a penalty? Does he get a fine at least?
Jay4481 Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Yeah I am not sure if that was a player or just a trainer-type person but that was so dirty...I really hope this gets more attention and i hope the league looks into it.
Heitz Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 They showed it on NFLN, they thought it was someone on the Jets staff - I'm sure we'll see more on this...
Ramius Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Typical pieces of ****. That type of thing is disgusting. I'd say i hope he gets suspended, but they guy obviously sucks if he's not playing, so a suspension wont matter much.
marauderswr80 Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 that's wasn't cheap! That was Fing dirty!!!!!!!!
sir andrew Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 The offense in this game is almost as inept as the bills-browns game from last year. This is pathetic.
vincec Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Unless he's a high level guy, he'll probably be fired. That's my prediction.
MattM Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Unless he's a high level guy, he'll probably be fired. That's my prediction. As he should be....
Jay4481 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Damn I missed that one. Check it out, despicable... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/12/12/dolphins-nolan-carroll-tripped-while-running-on-jets-sideline/
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 As he should be.... Need to fine the organization too -- something like a million bucks -- to send a message.
BuffaloBillsSD Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 If it's a player it should be a substantial fine/ suspension and if its an employee he should be fired. That is worse than any helmet to helmet hit.
May Day 10 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 that fat pig of a head coach is your prototypical meathead and this type of crap is built into the culture of that team now.
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Classless move from a classless team.
ConradDobler Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Quite a few dirty plays by the Jests today. Even though I also don't want the Dolfags to win either, karma had its' way.
Beach Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 i saw that and that person should be banned from the sidelines
Tcali Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 If it's a player it should be a substantial fine/ suspension and if its an employee he should be fired. That is worse than any helmet to helmet hit. So if its just a poor schmuck employee he should lose his job--and have his resume screwed up for 15 yrs while he looks for work---and the player should just get a fine/suspension??? Hmmmm. How about suspending the guy(if its a non-player) for a long while without pay--and let him earn his way back. Not defending the j*****ff employeee--just objecting to the unequal punishment that will likely come from a regular joe employeee vs a player.
BuffaloBillsSD Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 If you can't see the difference between an employee and a player then that is your problem.
