BuffaloBillsForever Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Nuff Said! I am liking his production.
silvermike Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 It's looking like he's the man who finally ended Brett Favre's streak.
DanInUticaTampa Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 There can be only one explanation: Rounds 5 and below are chosen by football people, and rounds 1-4 are picked by ralph wilson.
Erik Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 There can be only one explanation: Rounds 5 and below are chosen by football people, and rounds 1-4 are picked by ralph wilson. Well, we've done pretty well in 2-4 in the last two years...Levitre, Byrd, Troup, Carrington all looks like they could be players.
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 We should still give Maybin 3 or 4 more years.
Bob Goulet Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Moats beat Joe Thomas on the forced fumble, and he is probably considered an elite left tackle
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Moats beat Joe Thomas on the forced fumble, and he is probably considered an elite left tackle In addition, this is the time of the season where many rookies tend to hit the wall. Moats looks like he's getting better every week.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Moats beat Joe Thomas on the forced fumble, and he is probably considered an elite left tackle His strength on that play and finish reminded me of James Harrison.
DCBongo Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Moats one of the good surprises of this season. The kid has some game and might be worth keeping around, unlike Maybin and McCargo.
silvermike Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I wonder if Moats is really rooting against Favre starting tomorrow.
High Mark Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 (edited) There can be only one explanation: Rounds 5 and below are chosen by football people, and rounds 1-4 are picked by ralph wilson. I think its more like 1-3, and sometiems only 1-2. Moats is playing like a stud as the SAM and as a pass rusher. He was a breath of fresh air ever since he was promoted voer Maybin and everyone else. He was great today on a lot of plays. I think we can confidently pencil him in as a starter moving forward PS Kelsay was owned in the run game today. Edited December 12, 2010 by Thoner7
ColdBlueNorth Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Well, we've done pretty well in 2-4 in the last two years...Levitre, Byrd, Troup, Carrington all looks like they could be players. I wood like to add some Wood to that list Just needed a coach who knows how to coach to get these kids to play... not going out on a limb on the Maybin pick - didn't like it then and he hasn't done anything to change my mind. A lighter, weaker version of Erik Flowers.
billnutinphoenix Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 His strength on that play and finish reminded me of James Harrison. That's who he reminds me of too!!

jo39416 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 For those that arent aware, Moats won the Buck Buchanan award, which is awarded to the best defensive FCS (1-aa) player. Keep in mind, he played DE last year and is still learning the position!
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 For those that arent aware, Moats won the Buck Buchanan award, which is awarded to the best defensive FCS (1-aa) player. Keep in mind, he played DE last year and is still learning the position! Just need 3 more LBs to join him on the D
theesir Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 "I'm spending the extra time and everything's paying off so far. I'm young and everything but I want to emerge to one of the elite guys in this league."- This was Moats in the article in today's Buffalo News. This is why I'm really starting to love this guy. Set your goals high and don't shy away from the work it takes to reach them
Coach Tuesday Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Still can't believe they started him out at MLB - I guess they like his speed. But the kid is a natural passrusher, something this team needs more than anything else. Reminds me more of Wake than Harrison.
