I'm thinking more about our guys than theirs, but this game is dangerous, day after Christmas, on the road. Does anyone know what the team protocol is for this one? Will they all be out in SF for Christmas?

If SF wins another game somewhere in-between I won't be as worried. I just can't see them only winning one game this season.

Have you SEEN the Niners play this year? They'd have a difficult time with USC - and I'm only kind of kidding.

Worry about something else. Like the national debt.

If they win their next two they should take care of San Fran. SF is terrible and they have been hit hard with injuries the last couple of weeks. I would be surprised if SF beats anyone the rest of the year.

AD your kind of kidding ? Lets not get carried away with the " college team can beat a pro team".

Anyone hear about Mikey's status for tomorrow ? I hear he's been downgraded to questionable ?

USC currently has 11 players on the offensive side of the ball that will play on Sundays. San Francisco has about 5 that deserve that distinction.

Your opinion on whether or not I'm getting carried away would be of greater concern if you figured out how to log in. :(

USC may someday have 11 offensive players that will eventually see NFL time, but to even think they could compete with a pro team just shows your normal football knowledge.

Thanks for looking after my log on status. Since your on this board 24/7 you would know.

the niners are in disaray, maybe the worst franchise in the nfl (next to miami). its hsould not be a problem. It'll likely be raining sideways here, and we can jam it down their throats. I'll be there cheering them on!

Your opinion of my football knowledge is noted. Now head over to the dictionary and look up "subtle" and "sarcasm".

I'm sorry you can't be here more often. I'm not quite sure what that has to do with the word "guest" appearing before your name or my ability to discern what that means in about a tenth of a second.

I completely agree (and am terribly worried about the national debt, AD). It SHOULDN'T be a problem. I can just see it being dangerous if we are in the right position to really make a run at the playoffs, because

1) the Niners are terrible, beating them should be cake

2) it's the day after Christmas, on the road

3) the team might be looking ahead to Pittsburgh since it would presumably be our door into the playoffs, and a "homecoming"/hotly anticipated game for Mularkey

This is assuming a lot of "what ifs" so I'll agree it's early to talk about it and that yes, SF is dreadful and we should beat the crap out of them. It'll be really interesting if we're having this discussion in a few weeks.

You guys want a good remedy that helped me not be scared of the SF game?

Do what I do. Realize that losing tomorrow makes worrying about the SF game seem like childplay.

Tomorrow's game is all that matters. Get through tomorrow, and then you can start worrying about SF again. Christ, we have to win tomorrow and then win in freakin' CINCY before we have to worry the SF game.

FOCUS PEOPLE! :(

I can't buy your argument. Scarier than any other future opponent? Then, that would be Stillers first and then Cincy.

Let's face it, the Browns and the Niners games are gimmees. We can't lose either one cuz they are not in our class. If we do, then we're not as good as we think we are.

You're joking, right?

I sure hope you are not one of those thinking playoffs now. If we can't beat the Niners then they should fire someone immediately following the game. The Niners beat only Arizona in their one win.

In years past you might have been right - a classic sleeper game.

However, this year's Bills squad has a date with destiny!

Don't you realize that we are fore-ordained to run the table and astonish the football world by winning the SuperBowl?

This is bigger than just football.

The Bills are a juggernaut the like of which have never been seen in the history of the NFL. :D

They are crushing opponents one after the other and are simply unstoppable.

Pay no attention to the fact that a 2-10 team had a chance to beat them with 3 minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

Let reason be banished! In the words of Teddy/FD Roosevelt, "We have nothing to fear but the whites of their eyes!" or, something like that. ;)

For those who think we're on a run to the playoffs - here's a little reality check:

THESE ARE THE PLAYOFFS!

Lose just once and we're done. It doesn't matter if it comes at SF or at the Ralph or anywhere else.

The reward for being the last place wild card team will be a trip to Indy. And, if by some happenstance the miracle continues the following week would likely bring a trip to the-Fix-is-in-boro stadium.
