NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed the decision in an e-mail message Saturday night, with the Giants stuck in Kansas City because of the weather that brought 15 or more inches of snow in Minnesota. Aiello said the decision was made on the recommendation of Metrodome officials. boyst Posted December 12, 2010 Share Posted December 12, 2010 What are they going to do about TV? Kickoff was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. ET Sunday, but is now slated for 8 p.m. ET Monday. FOX will have normal regional coverage of the game in both Minnesota and New York. Where about in the cities do you hail from? I'm in the hood of North MPLS, and we got about 16 inches, perhaps more. Friggin wimps. Unlike western NY and the lake effect snow, six inches is blizzard conditions with the right amount of wind and cold. You don't get -15 in Buffalo, like we do in MN, and the Dakota's. Try shoveling when the windchill is -50 or more. It's a whole different environment and they are not equipped to handle this much snow with 30 mile an hour winds following an Alberta Clipper. I thought you said it was a"dry" cold It is -- the snow was very light and fluffy, not wet like WNY snow. But the perfect conditions hit to nail us with a blizzard, and now the temps are in single digits with -30F windchill.
