This sort of thing remains the dark specter in China's rise. The government there repressing freedom of speech and religion. Trying to stop internet access to Nobel sites. Creating a new alternate peace prize (the recipient didn't even accept it). If the central planners aren't careful, there's a stew of repression and wealth growing that will not mix.

 

Not to minimize our problems, but I'd rather have our problems than theirs.
