New realgm.com Mock Draft

Better than a CB.

I'd rather have the players that went 5,6,7,8,9. But if we dont go trenches (which would be a mistake, imo) Green is the best player at a skill position in the draft, by a long shot too.

Only positions I'll have an absolute meltdown over are RB, CB, and Safety. Anything else is fair game.

They passed on Gabe Carimi in RD#2, Mark Ingram wasn't even picked until pick #39, and Stephen Paea DT wasn't picked until #46. Dontay Moch LB at #47 will be long gone by then, as will Ryan Broyles at WR. Wiretap Archives?

Let's just stop being a backwater organization and be bold. Go ahead and take Cam Newton and give the franchise something to be excited about. Striving to be mediocre is tiresome. When much of your fanbase sees fulfillment in a 2-10 record that is a sign of resignation and stupidity. If he is there let's stop thinking small and seize the moment.

I would not hate this. I have heard several draft pundits say that A.J. Green as the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson. Sometimes you just can't pass on a player like that, regardless of what your team needs might be.

Yes you can. When your defense is dead last in the NFL in rushing yards allowed by more than 25 above the 31st ranked team you can. They're not good at rushing the passer and aside from QB, there's more pressing needs on defense.

Then again Smithers and the marketeers need a draw when more fans cancel seasons in 2011.

If you review the variety of draft sights what becomes apparent is that New England has mastered the system the best. They have multiple picks in the first three rounds. They can use their picks to acquire numerous players or they can parlay some of their extra picks to move up and get a couple of players they really covet.

While the Bills have to constantly redraft positions they misfired in their prior drafts the Pats add talent to talent. How is it that the Bills have not had a functioning TE for more than a decade while the Pats got two very good TEs from the draft last year? Competency has it rewards. Incompetency has its consequences.

You are so off base with your comment (the one highlighted) it's not even funny. Do you really think ANYONE is fulfilled with 2-10? If you do, then maybe it is you who is stupid. A good portion of us positive ones just find it easier to see the good in something instead of harp on what is bad, but by no means does that mean we are happy with losing or being where we are as a team. It's just a way of life to not always be negative and to try to find something good in a bad situation. just as it seems it IS a way of life for you and your fellow haters to hate and be negative. We are not going to change each other, there is no doubt about that. But please stop with the asinine comments because they are just false.
