Captain Caveman
That's what they say, but it's not true. Read some of the links in this thread. "As reported by Declan McCullagh of CNET at the time, “The U.S. Marshals Service admitted this week that it had surreptitiously saved tens of thousands of images recorded with a millimeter wave system at the security checkpoint of a single Florida courthouse.” The images EPIC obtained were accompanied by a letter (PDF), in which William Bordley, an associate general counsel with the Marshals Service, admits that “approximately 35,314 images…have been stored on the Brijot Gen2 machine” used in the Orlando, Fla. federal courthouse." These both refer to machines in a courthouse. TSA procedures may be different.
bbb
So you have no problem with what happened (assuming it really happened)? How can you doubt the word of Donna D'Errico?
truth on hold
I think the rule is women review women, men review men. So unless the reviewer is a lesbian, this charge is bogus. Edited December 8, 2010 by Joe_the_6_pack
Fezmid
These both refer to machines in a courthouse. TSA procedures may be different. The procedures were allegedly the same - the images were never to be stored/printed/etc. They said the same thing TSA said. I think the rule is women review women, men review men. So unless the reviewer is a lesbian, this charge is bogus. TSA has never confirmed that. This is true for pat-downs, but there's no information on the porno-vision scanners.
