bbb Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I am so not handy, it's ridiculous. Everything around me a mess, due to my cat dying, 3 feet of snow being dumped on me, etc.....And, today is my busiest day of the year, where I need my printer to work like crazy. I bought this in the summer and it's been great and now all of a sudden, it keeps getting a paper jam. I can't get one sheet printed. Where do I even start - do I call HP help?
Corp000085 Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 PC Load Letter? What the f--- does that mean?
bbb Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 PC Load Letter? What the f--- does that mean? I'm not sure what you're talking about? A scene from Office Space comes to mind You have to join that site to watch it.....From what I gather it seems appropriate, though!
/dev/null Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 PC Load Letter? What the f--- does that mean? Why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam!
Corp000085 Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I guess this is from a movie? Turn on channel 9.

Is it always stopping at the same point?
bbb Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 Is it always stopping at the same point? Yeah, the first time it spit out a very crumbled sheet, and now it sucks it in and crumbles it and it stops there. I can pull the crumbled sheet out, and start over, but it does the exact same thing again.
Just Jack Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 There is probably a scrap from a previous jam stuck inside where it's stopping. Try opening every access door/panel and see if you can find it.

Just Jack Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 You're a stinkin' genius! Thanks!! Nahhh... just years of being in the business. And stinking? I did take a shower this morning.
Wooderson Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 There is probably a scrap from a previous jam stuck inside where it's stopping. Try opening every access door/panel and see if you can find it. Yeah, same thing ALWAYS happens to me. Friggin pisses me off.
The Senator Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Aggravation is costly, and printers are cheap - throw it out and buy a new one.
Ramius Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Turn on channel 9. Well, **** man, i thought you'd want to see that.
Corp000085 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Well, **** man, i thought you'd want to see that. Well now I need to dig that DVD out of storage!
Nanker Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Any ideas? Sure - go on the IntarWeb to the HP site and search for their support tech help page. There are two basic versions of this printer the A910a and the A909a. Here's said-same linky to their A910a paper jam solution page. It includes a movie. Not as entertaining as The Office, no doubt. But it could be helpful. Anymore problems?

/dev/null Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I don't know what a duplexer is. Can you print on both sides of a sheet of paper? If yes: the duplexer is what lets you print on both sides. If no: don't worry about it because you don't have one
