DC Tom Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 http://www.kansas.com/2010/12/03/1616214/faces-5-charges-in-westboro-incident.html IMO he has defended America against threats both foreign and domestic Both. What he did was illegal...but that doesn't make it wrong.
BuffaloBill Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 While the practical answer is both .... if I sat on a jury I would be looking for facts or situations that might allow me to let the guy go. Don't get me wrong ... if there was no room for this I could do what was called for but just sayin ...I'd also love to let the guy off.
Simon Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Stalking? Seriously? That's funny cuz I would say that traveling to complete strangers' funerals to harass people is stalking.
thebug Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Stalking? Seriously? That's funny cuz I would say that traveling to complete strangers' funerals to harass people is stalking. I was thinking the same thing. If he is charged, they should be charged as well.
Nanker Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 He'll be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law - no doubt. Perhaps the sentencing judge will make him serve his time in community service - like say, training other like-minded volunteers in how to eliminate vermin from the public streets.
Fan in San Diego Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I was thinking the same thing. If he is charged, they should be charged as well. I agree, give the guy a medal.
Just Jack Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 There's a defense fund you can contribute to.
KD in CA Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 How disappointing. When I clicked on the link I was hoping to read that someone had finally shot a few of those Westboro subhumans.
boyst Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 As a soldier he was sworn to protect our Constitution which protects free speech. Like what they do or not, they are within their rights, rights that we give them being members of this great country.
