Dorkington Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) Based on wins and losses: Combined record of Bills losses: 68-31 .687 Combined record of Bills victories: 4-18 .182 Remaining schedule strength: 32-23 .582 Total schedule strength based on 12 wks: 104-72 .591 That's one hell of a rough schedule. Seems we only beat bad teams though. Even the teams close to .500 we lose to. Only two of our losses was to a team not in first, or tied for first from what I can tell. And one of those teams is only a game out of first (GB). Luck of the draw, really. As argued elsewhere, we may be a better team than our record indicates, but the only thing that matters is our record. Edited December 2, 2010 by Dorkington
Green Lightning Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I sort of disregard the first serveral games. They were awful and evaluationg talent and learning a new system. From Baltimore on, they started playing as a team and have been in every game since. There is still a talent drop off that will take a season or two to address. I like the trajectory, but you are correct, at the end of the day our record is all that remains. I still feel a lot better at 2 and 9 than I would have thought. It's because I see weekly improvement, heart and effort.
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 If they were in the AFC or NFC West, they be at the top of the division. That's why as great as Rivers is, he is doing against some crappy competition. Fitz would be setting all of the team records if he played against the same schedule.
