BuffaloBill
A heroic yet simple act that changed culture. Not to say that much still needs to be done but thankfully progress has been made.
boyst
Amazing no one brought up the true story and how fixed this was. I had never known it until a few years ago, and don't laugh, the real woman was interviewed on Howard Stern. Rosa had taken in a younger teen girl and this teen girl had done the event, sitting in the front of the bus. The girl told Parks of this. Parks had known several activists already and spoke to them and they devised the plan to have her reinact what happened to the other girl. The entire event was planned and there is a great NY Times article on this. I am desperately trying to find it. Either way, much like all of history, Rosa Parks was a figurehead of a larger event and was propped up with a hatched premise.
