My favorite is the view from behind the quarterback, where you can see Williams barreling in and knocking Pouncey right off the edge of the screen.

Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 He is becoming an elite player and should make the pro bowl!
Roc Bronson Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 With a Monster like Williams blowing guys up like he has been, I believe we should just stick with the 4-3. I also liked what I saw from Troup and Carrington. Wasn't Williams an alternate in the pro bowl last year?
CodeMonkey Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 (edited) He is becoming an elite player and should make the pro bowl! That may be a bit premature and I do not think many players from 2-9 teams go to the pro bowl. And I also doubt many defensive linemen from teams ranked 32 against the run go either. But he certainly is having a good season so far. Edited November 30, 2010 by CodeMonkey
mattsox Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Agreed. Love how Williams plays, and we better do anything it takes to keep him here. Not sure about the Pro Bowl, due to the fact we're 2-9. But he is most deserving...
evilbuffalobob Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Back in college, Williams was referred to as "A Bowling Ball With Spikes." He's gone nostalgia on the No Fun League.
CodeMonkey Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Not sure about the Pro Bowl, due to the fact we're 2-9. But he is most deserving... If there was a rule about at least 1 player from every team going, then yeah he is the one I would send.
VirginiaMike Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Kyle Williams has had a great year and i agree he should be considered for the Pro Bowl. The question people might ask is how can a DT on the team who is worst against the run be on the Pro Bowl. The answers in the Bills case are 2: 1. The LB's stink as a team. Wrong attack angles when they attack and slow reactions 2. The DE's can't hold the corner. They get trapped inside far too easily.

I get where you are coming from, but pro bowl nods are for the player not the team. Kyle has been an absolute monster this year and there is no reason he should not be in consideration for the pro bowl regardless of buffalo's record.
Magox Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 That was a fun sack to watch. I just hope they extend his contract during the offseason before he gets too expensive.
Fingon Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Kyle will get in because of the players and coaches.
Pyrocles Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Barry Sanders easily made lots of Pro Bowls on horrible Lions teams... Of course, that was Barry Sanders. But it can happen.
