The Big Cat Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Today's turning points, in sequence: Fitzpatrick hooks up with Donald Jones to score with 1:15. Buffalo due to get the ball back after half. Does that qualify as "when it counts?" Then ****-for-brains booted it out of bounds, and Cincinnati takes over at the 40 with plenty of time, all their timeouts and a chance to negate The Bills' last drive. Bengals make it all the way to the goaline, and our defense holds up. No, we weren't dreaming. Questionable call allows them to get a FG off, but the Bills escape with their last touchdown not all together wiped away. Bills start half with a touchdown, they've now cut the deficit by 11 points over the last two possessions. Two plays later, the defense recovers a fumble for a touchdown. Bengals get the ball back, march all the way down the field...again. Edwards calls off the blitz, pass to the endzone, picked. Offense takes over, third quarter ends, drive continues, Fitzpatrick makes a brilliant 11 yard pass to The Joker for TD number two, The Bills take the lead at the start of the fourth quarter. Does it "count yet?" For the first time all season, we saw the DEFENSE do favors for the offense. And Fitzpatrick and co. capitalized each and every time. It was a team win, and for once we got an ample contribution from the DEFENSE! Woot woot! Alex Carrington? WHY SO SERIOUS?
