John from Riverside Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I got news for you Bulldog......yes Fitz is in fact a pretty good QB... Does he have some erratic throws yes..... Does he throw some interceptions....yes....... He is still a damn fine QB.
John from Riverside Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 why in the heck are you listening to WGR? Cuz im on the West Coast and its all I got...
Malazan Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) The Edge does a postgame show, no? looks like they do: http://www.wedg.com/article.asp?id=552973 Stop supporting WGR by listening to it. The only way to see change there is to hurt their ratings. They continually advertise how happy they are to have people listening to the idiots they have on there just to see how idiotic they can be.. Edited November 21, 2010 by jeremy2020
TH3 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 If we had a rookie QB playing like Fitz.....we would all be think we had just drafted a HOF'er
34-78-83 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 How is this any different from Kelly's 3 int in the 1st half 5 TD game vs. the Bengals? Bulldog is retarded apparently
Another Point of View Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) I like Fitz.... Edited November 21, 2010 by Another Point of View
Alphadawg7 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 If we had a rookie QB playing like Fitz.....we would all be think we had just drafted a HOF'er This comment is so misused its not even funny...regardless if you are talking about Fitz or any other vet. If this was a rookie, he would still be learning the game and assumed he would only keep getting better. Fitz is not a rookie, and has FIRMLY established himself to have poor accuracty issues that plague him with no signs of that improving. There is a huge difference between a rookie learning how to play at this level and a Vet playing at about his cieling.
John from Riverside Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Thanks Jeremy....bye bye Bulldog As I was signing off a caller was calling in arguement with Bulldog as he basically said the same thing again. I love how someone calls in and politely disagrees and they tear him apart.

OMG you're still talking like this after the guy regains his composure and has that outing?? Weak
zow2 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I've lost a lot of respect for Bulldog and Schopp today. (not that i had much to begin with!). They are bringing negativity to a day when our QB has a fabulous day, after a not so great start. The franchise QB, Palmer, had a great start and a bad ending. it happens. All QBs don't play awesome for 4 Qtrs. Fitz is clearly a starting level QB in the NFL and these guys act like he's John Beck...3rd stringer that happens to be having a decent year. Trent Edwards never did one eighth in his career of what Fitz has done in 8 games.
bobblehead Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Wow, seriously? What a fuggin loser. Does he have trouble pronouncing R's too?
I 90 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Just how bad has the quarterback play been for the last decade if Fitz "is just not good"? I could watch him play for a few years while they sort through the rest of their many problems.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I feel sorry for Bulldog - his station tells him to be negative, but at this point the only thing to be negative about is 6 months away.

On the list of things this team needs to improve, QB is down there, especially when you factor in leadership. This TEAM got better the instant Fitz took over. That would take next to forever for a rookie. BTW, 316 yards, 4 TDs.
I hate the Bills ! Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Who cares what the guy on th radios says he get paid to stir things up to keep the shows ratings up. Bottom line he was wrong !
John from Riverside Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 The thing is Fitz brings things to the position that go FAAARRR beyond his passing. - Bulldog said that athletically Fitz is just not that good....WHAT...Fitz athletically is a very good QB.....he is elusive...he buys time in the pocket.....and he can run - For all of his talk about lack of arm strength......I dont agree with that either.........he has accuracy issues that have nothing to do with arm strength - He gives this team a calm confidence.......he isn't a ra ra guy what he does is go out and lead by example....you dont see him getting in a WR face......he simply comes out and calmly goes right back at it again with confidence. Fitz is my QB next year.
Alphadawg7 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) OMG you're still talking like this after the guy regains his composure and has that outing?? Weak Huh? Wasnt talking just about Fitz, was talking about the misuse of this comment I see all the time..."if a rookie did this, you would say this"...rookies and vets are not fair comparisons as rookies are still learning to adjust to the game and how to play at this level where a Vet has had much more experience to better evaluate his potential and cieling. Case in point, not one GM in football would take Fitz over Bradford right now despite the better stats. But since you went there...are you saying Fitz doesnt have accuracy issues? How about the 10 to 14 point gift to start the game that Cincy gave us? You know the INT that was overturned by a late hit that led to our first 7 points that easily would have been 3 to 7 points for Cincy? Big props to him for his 2nd half, but that doesnt change the fact that Fitz has accuracy issues...sorry Either way, it was fun to watch and a great 2nd half after an embarrasing first half by all our units. Born to Run Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 They are employees of the Sabres. Howard Simon was blaming the Bills for the fans early season disgust of the hockey team.

UMMMM...that is why I pointed out there would be two standards....if this was a rookie performance it would be a viewed as a sign of the second coming of (well third I guess with fergy and kelly) of #12....instead it's just an aberration in an otherwise mediocre career... Fits may not be Brady but he is well in the upper half of Qb's in this league and seems to be improving ....no need to knock him
