Philly McButterpants Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Saw that on Drudge earlier. Very sad.
UConn James Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Soldiers aren't supposed to keep dogs in the current war zones, but Target's story is one example of how they are so useful. A dog's nose is better than IDs. On my brother's last deployment to Afghanistan (he just got back stateside last week from his current one) they kept dogs at the outposts for heat at night. Gives new meaning to that '60s band name, Three Dog Night, yes? That is so sad. Blame on all sides here that brought about the sequence of events, tho. If the dog had a license / tags, it wouldn't have happened.
boyst Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 This is so sad. It also raises the point that he gets more coverage than the most recent soldiers killed.
The Dean Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Very sad story. they kept dogs at the outposts for heat at night. Gives new meaning to that '60s band name, Three Dog Night, yes? Actually that doesn't bring a new meaning, as that is the origin of the band's name.
