JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Reverse strength of schedule. So whoever played the schedule with the lower winning percentage would get the tiebreaker. Right now that's Carolina.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 whatever team has the weaker strength of schedule
Wing Man Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 This is likely to rock back and forth between Buffalo and Carolina as the season progresses since they will face opponents of different records along the way. This is moot if either team starts winning more games. It's also important to realize that Carolina has their franchise quarterback of the future in Clausen and may well bypass Luck in favor of another need position to continue to build around Clausen.

Agreed. Carolina has a lot of other holes to address. Would they really go for another QB as a number of folks here are saying?
K-No Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Agreed. Carolina has a lot of other holes to address. Would they really go for another QB as a number of folks here are saying? If that QB was believed to be the next Peyton Manning they might. Wouldn't you?
The Senator Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 If the Bills and panthers finished with the same record who gets the 1 ?? That's easy - Patriots*. what decides this? Roger Goodell, in consultation with Bob Kraft and Bill Belicheat*.
gobillsinytown Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 That's easy - Patriots*. Roger Goodell, in consultation with Bob Kraft and Bill Belicheat*. Now this is funny! Except that the Pats* will trade down for 122 picks in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds.
prissythecat Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 If that QB was believed to be the next Peyton Manning they might. Wouldn't you? Isn't Clausen a "franchise" qb?

I believe the Pats actually have eight picks in the first 4 rounds- two each in rounds 1 thru 4. I hate them with a passion but damn they have a forward-thinking front office.
