BillsNYC Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 During the Miami game people were worried at halftime. I laughed and said, "Don't worry, MM and JG are going to make adjustments and kicks some ass in the lockerroom and this team's gonna come out firing. We're a second half team baby!!" I used to love that the Bills of the 90's were never out of it, and I think this team is getting that personality too...
Realist Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 That certainly seems to be the case. The last few years if we were down at the half it was as good as done, there was no reason to tune in for the second half.

When I saw the score was 24-14 I said "come on guys, get a TD to pull within 4 before halftime, and win it in the 2nd half." However I BETTER not be saying that THIS weekend!
Dan Gross Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 When Miami kept scoring, I said: "They are getting all their scoring in now, as they no they won't get anything in the second half beyond the usual token 4th Q TD."
janbillsfan Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 almost reminds me of the old K-gun days, down by four scores in the fourth quarter-thats when you got the most excited, knowing they'd win anyhow. This week was the first week in a long time that I felt certain that we could win, no matter what the score
PIZ Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 I've been saying to myself for awhile now too. If it is close or the Bills have the lead at halftime, it is over.

No matter what happened, we always came out in the 2nd half looking no different then we did in the 1st half
