Meark Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 1 TE reception the last 3 games, a catch by Martin for 11 yards.. Before that it was 2 catches by Shawn Nelson and 1 by Stupar vs Baltimore. I know our OL sucks and these guys have had to block, but there are plenty of plays to get them involved after the first block. Will Buffalo ever have a coach that will used these guys as receivers?
tennesseeboy Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 We could really improve our offense with a dynamic stud TE. I could live with a pick of a TE in the second round (assuming we address our OT and Defensive line situations aggressively through trade, free agency and the rest of the draft). I was admiring Olsen playing for Chicago and a slew of other great TE's the last few weeks.

Sisyphean Bills Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Our lack of TE and FB may have been what deluded the coaches into thinking Kelsay was a capable OLB.

Not letting you get away with this one. Our TE's suck, but FB? C'mon, McIntyre has proven more than capable when called upon to block, etc.

The Big Cat Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 McIntyre has been a real gamer on special teams, too. He's responsible for at least 2 of the team's top 5 hardest hits. He had a string of monster ST hits.

Meark Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 Supposedly Shawn Nelson is a stud.. I wouldn't know since they never seem to get him involved?? We are constantly killed down the middle by other teams TE's.. Just once I'd love to see us get a 20 yard pass down the middle of the field to a TE. Please?
Wooderson Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) Last year, the TEs were catching too many balls and the WRs weren't. This year, the TEs aren't catching enough passes. The WRs are. I guess we need a happy medium. Edited November 15, 2010 by Wooderson
