lets_go_bills Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Looks like Wade won't be the only person fired by Jerry.
Vinny4sum Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Could someone else purchase the domain prior to Boys renewing? If yes, would have been great and profitable to buy and direct at the Bills site.
The Wang From Sang Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Everybody is pounding on the boys today! http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/cowboys-need-more-than-a-coaching-change-mark-kriegel-110810?Gt1=39002
BuffaloWings Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Could someone else purchase the domain prior to Boys renewing? If yes, would have been great and profitable to buy and direct at the Bills site. Yes - as long as they get it while it's still available. Someone could make a huge profit off of that.
MattyT Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Everything is indeed bigger in Texas...including the melt downs.
Vinny4sum Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Yes - as long as they get it while it's still available. Someone could make a huge profit off of that. I thought so, my sites are all on auto renew annually. If this was the Bills this board would light up with how incompetent the org is. Hard to believe the Cowboys have saved us from laughing stock status!
Doc Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Could someone else purchase the domain prior to Boys renewing? If yes, would have been great and profitable to buy and direct at the Bills site. Nope. It's called cybersquatting.
Thisistheyear Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Nope. It's called cybersquatting. An actual cowboy from Dallas could buy it.
The Big Cat Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Nope. It's called cybersquatting. I didn't think it was illegal??
Van_phelaN1 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I thought so, my sites are all on auto renew annually. If this was the Bills this board would light up with how incompetent the org is. Hard to believe the Cowboys have saved us from laughing stock status! Hard to believe? Yes. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside? Yes. Getting old any time soon? Nope. Now all we need to do is fire Edwards and go grab Wade Phillips as our new D coordinator to regain our status as top laughing stock
phypon Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I didn't think it was illegal?? It may fall under a trademark issue giving "The Dallas Cowboys" innate rights to it. Not sure though.
thebug Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Nobody else would get away with using it anyway.
DanInUticaTampa Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I didn't think it was illegal?? it is if it is used with ill intent of a trademarked name.
NaPolian8693 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Apparently Jerry micromanages the IT Department as well.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 That's awesome and classic all at once.
BuffaloWings Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Nobody else would get away with using it anyway. Unless they had a trademarked name. For example, if there was a restaurant or bar called "Dallas Cowboys Watering Hole", the owner could buy it and would be protected by the Anti-Cybersquatting Act. The owner would then be free to do what he wants with the domain name.
The Senator Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Looks like Wade won't be the only person fired by Jerry. Luckily for him, the web admnistator's name happens to be Jerry Jones, Jr.
