Just Jack Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I've seen several variations of that play over the past few years, and I'm surprised that it still works.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Wow, a trick play fooled a bunch of middle schoolers. That wannabe jerk of a coach must be sooooo proud of himself.
KD in CA Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Meh. It would be a lot more impressive if it hadn't been an 8th graders game.
BoBills20 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 and then he gets laid out in the celebration
reddogblitz Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Wow, a trick play fooled a bunch of middle schoolers. That wannabe jerk of a coach must be sooooo proud of himself. This is my take exactly. That coach of the team that scored is probably one of those !@#$ football dads who thinks his son (the QB) will be the next John Elway or something and winning the peewee football championship is the springboard to a highly successful football career. This is chicken-**** football.
Acantha Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 What I don't like about this play (and those like it) is that it basically tells the kids to lay out any player, no matter what. Why take the chance it could be one of these plays? Just tackle the guy with the ball, even if it seems like play is stopped....just to be sure.
