...than the Bills do as a team.

But the unintelligent Bills fans seem to think that Ryan Fitzpatrick is reason we're losing these games. Hey Einsteins, he's the only reason they're close enough to win them in the first place.

I think most fans know that... The Einsteins can be pretty vocal.

Fitz has shown that he is a pretty good QB. He has a chance to be a long term starter if he continues to play well or even improves, but he is a sure thing to stick around and groom next years QB we draft :-)

No pass rush, no running game, and dropped INT's/passes and fumbles equals 0-8. Schobel retiring wasn't something the Bills had control over, but they've done a poor job drafting pass rushers. The running game is a surprise, as are all the dropped INT's, passes (TO's long gone), and fumbles.

no pass rush = no pressure = QBs have all the time to find an open guy, or throw it away = no turnovers = 0-8

This.

Enter Shawne Merriman......

And this.

Bryan Scott dropped a Pick 6 that would've extended the lead to 26-14.

The difference in this game, IMO (other than the disastrous blocked PAT), was that the Bears have playmakers on D, while the Bills do not.

If I was Chan, I'd make every player in the secondary go through catching drills. Line up the machine and fire footballs at them all day long. If they drop more than 10%, make them do 10 laps for every ball they drop. The DB's job is to keep the offense from catching the ball, but when you have opportunities to make a pick, you CAN NOT give them up.

Just a few years back, I was begging for some ball-hawking DBs and it seemed like we got them a couple of years ago. They need that again. If they had a playmaker in the secondary and someone who could effectively rush the passer, the turnovers would come more often.

Fitz isn't the reason we're losing - give him a running game, pass blocking, a defense, and special teams and we'd be winning some ballgames. But so far, he hasn't been good enough to overcome those many flaws, and he gets blame for that, especially because recently, he's almost been good enough to overcome those flaws, and his letdowns come at key points in close games instead of at the end of blowouts.

LOL. Great idea, coach.
