On the bolded: Tim Graham's research exposed that Kelsay is the highest paid 31 year old OLB in the entire NFL.

watching him get beat on just about every play is truly painful. He cannot rush the passer, cannot move in space. Just seems a like a Canadian league player in an NFL game. Painful to watch. Really unable to do anything. Like a basketball player who is sort of in the right place most times, runs the play the way its drawn up, but scores no points, has no rebounds. Just sort of takes up his space on the playing field or court. Weird to watch. Just no impact on the game at all. And teams do attack him. They no he will not make the play.

Maybe we should have a Dead Horse Forum for all those who continue to belabor the obvious, like Kelsay sucks (AND is way overpaid), that McKelvin sucks (and is as dumb as a stalk of celery), that Whitner sucks, that George Edwards sucks, that Poz sucks, that Torbor sucks, that Maybin sucks, etc.

Topics that qualify for the Dead Horse Forum are those that have been gnawed over endlessly AND ones that no one any longer bothers to make a sensible opposing argument.

haha wtf is wrong with the bills organization.

My thoughts exactly. OBD needs to be blown up and rebuilt from the ground up. This organization is laughable at best.

Can anyone actually say how much guaranteed money he actually gets out of the deal? I'm under the impression that none of it is. I could have sworn some reporter out there said the Bills can basically cut him during any training camp the next 2-3 years and the Bills don't owe him a cent.

Kelsay is an enigma. He usually does a good job diagnosing a play and is in the right position to make a stop. But he rarely ever makes that stop. He probably looks great in practice, when the players are not playing at full speed and he doesn't have to make tackles. He is probably a force in the classroom, where he may even act as a second coach in describing the breakdown of a play. That probably explains why the coaching staffs -- and he is on his fourth now -- always seem to like the guy. The funny thing is that if the rest of the front 7 was better, we could probably live with his shortcomings. But, alas, with so little surrounding talent, Kelsay's weaknesses are magnified.
