BillsObserver Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 It's not available anywhere guys. Keep an eye on buffalobills.com, they'll have the video clips and sound bytes.
Spillerwich Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Does anyone know if it has taken place yet? maybe they backed it up for some reason
Kelly the Dog Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Does anyone know if it has taken place yet? maybe they backed it up for some reason It already happened. Allegedly WGR is airing it before 1:30pm.
Kelly the Dog Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 WGR screwed up the audio and you could barely hear it, and they cut it off before they got through the whole thing. What they did play was pretty low key. Merriman said he's ready to go, already been to meetings and getting used to the guys. Says Nix called him immediately and they talked for awhile and he is here to play football, and do whatever they ask him to. He watched film on the Bills and wondered how they were 0-7 (of course he is going to say stuff like that). Says he passed his physical and could have played more in San Diego. Said anyone who knows him says he always plays with a chip on his shoulder, so yes, he does have one. Sounded very much like he will play against the Lions next week. He was fairly humble, or at least acted like it in front of the media, for what was played.

Looking forward to seeing him play. I will be flying up for the Lions game, but I he did say he will be dressed and travelling with the team for the Bears. I have to believe Chan might throw him into at least one 3rd down and long. PTR
Spillerwich Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I just want to see him get on the field and take some heads off. They need just let him lose on qb's. Go crazy! Lights out!

PTR I thought he was just traveling with the team and not dressing. Am I wrong?
Russ 'Em Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 no that's the impression i got as well. He will be on the sidelines but in street clothes.
Kelly the Dog Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I thought he was just traveling with the team and not dressing. Am I wrong? He said he will start practicing early next week, so there doesn't seem like much chance at all he will play Sunday. He said he will be traveling with the team but I didnt hear him say he would be dressed.
PromoTheRobot Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I must have heard it wrong then. Sorry. PTR
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I liked hearing what he had to say. Just words but they were all the right ones. Can't wait to see if he can bring back his A game.

Yeah good start with the presser. He said all the right things. He said he will be on the sidelines for the game. I assume that means street cloths, but who knows if he is healthy, it doesn't take a lot of practice to blitz a QB on 3rd down.
Nanker Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Man, a lot of haranguing questions about him not being the same player and not fitting in here. Way to ingratiate yourself with the new guy in town there newscasters.
cåblelady Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Merriman presser. PTR Color me quite impressed with Mr. Merriman's presser.
JohnC Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Merriman presser. PTR Thanks for the link. Interesting interview. He responded very professionally. Whether he stays for the long haul (I doubt) there is a lot at stake for him to resurrect his career.
