CodeMonkey Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 http://www.wgr550.com/Report--Rogers-Communications-interested-in-more-B/8515041 Work firewall blocking, but I see it is a WGR link so you are probably correct.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Bills' situation has some ugly similarities to drunken Bob Irsay and the former Baltimore Colts. The biggest one being, irritate the fan base to no end. Yes, I understand it's some halfwit from Toronto making the comments, but start adding everything up.
PromoTheRobot Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I know denial is the more popular response to this issue but I'm not surprised. In fact I predicted as much. And while most Bills fans see it as an insult it's really an attempt to keep the Bills in the general area as opposed to Southern California, Las Vegas or San Antonio. I really think Goodell wants the Bills to remain in this region but he has to sell it to the other owners. Toronto is the carrot to make it happen. Yeah yeah, I know. Tell them to just leave if they are going to do this. We'll see how you feel when they are really gone. PTR
Wagon Circler Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I don't understand. Why would Rogers want a second game? Because the first one has been so successful?
BuffaloBaumer Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 I just think Ralph has got someone in mind as to who he is selling to and this is going to be part of the deal. It's the only thing that makes sense...
PromoTheRobot Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I don't understand. Why would Rogers want a second game? Because the first one has been so successful? Because Rogers mishandled the Bills series from the word go. Let me remind you... 1) Charge ridiculous prices that would make even Jerruh Jones and Bob Kraft blush. 2) Forced people to buy all eight games in advance. 3) The Bills started bad and only got worse. This does not mean Toronto won't support the NFL. All it means is they are too smart to buy the crap Rogers is selling them as it's packaged now. PTR
