stony Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) From Bills Twitter: buffalobillscom The #Bills also announced that the team has placed OT Cornell Green on Injured Reserve. I don't see how anyone could bash the Merriman pick up now!! Edited November 3, 2010 by stony
skibum Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 A bit of a bummer; I was hoping to see one of the pylons in our linebacker corps get cut.
Flutie Flakes Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Cornell "E-Z Pass" Green gone.....yessssssss!!!
T master Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I don't see how anyone could bash the Merriman pick up now!! They were this morning & all day yesterday , at least there was no money lost by cutting Green !! But in true Bills fan tradition some one will come up with something saying it was stupid and Nix needs to be fired ---- SAME AS IT EVER WAS !!!!!
SUNTANBILLSFAN Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 might be killing two birds with one stone green gone and lb corps better hope this doesnt get us too many wins to screw up the draft lol
ndirish1978 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Addition by subtraction and addition I like it!
Albany,n.y. Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Green joins a long list of Bills OL signed as veteran free gents who #### the bed.
bowery4 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 So why didn't they just go the injury settlement route? Isn't that a cheaper option? Green does not need to be here next year and as of now he is still a Buffalo Bill. Am I missing something? Why isn't he cut?
High Mark Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) why can teams just IR guys that arent injured? Cornell first gets benched and its called a mystery injury, now here on IR. Who do they think they are fooling? Do they save money this way? Why not just cut him? Like early in TC Nic Harris failed his physical, why not IR him and see what he can bring to the team next year? Whats the point in cutting him? Edited November 4, 2010 by Thoner7
benderbender Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 first smart move front office made this year
bbb Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Did they ever come up with an injury to put on the injury report?
DC Tom Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Did they ever come up with an injury to put on the injury report? Strained ego, when he realized he couldn't even remotely play at a pro level.
