Fan in San Diego Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Great move! No downside with this move.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 He's not allowed to care that the defense he is a part of is bringing in a new player? Maybin part of the defense??? Him hard to do sitting in the stands. Meriman in means more likely he wont have to worry about getting dirty on sundays
Punch Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Whoa...say, aren't we supposed to follow the great Pats...you know like when they brought in Seau, Fred Taylor...etc... DarthICE is a moron. Every time he posts something it's like a crazy person screaming at the top of his lungs on a street corner about UFOs and the Illuminati. So !@#$ing sick of it.

The thing is he has been like this forever, leaves for a while or gets banned and than comes back all humble and starts all over again

ajzepp Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Depending on who we release in order to make room for him, I don't see any harm in signing the guy...but I wish I was a bit more optimistic that this was a meaningful signing. I just don't see Merriman getting back to his former self.

The thing is he has been like this forever, leaves for a while or gets banned and than comes back all humble and starts all over again There are quite a few posters that belong to the "tin foil helmet" brigade. The sooner they're abducted and unable to continue posting drivel, the better.
billsfan89 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Good move Merriman is not going to take away playing time from guys that are worth a damm. He is a chance worth taking as Kelsay and Maybin stink and aren't likely going to develop with more playing time. Good move to try and improve the team. Throw in the fact that he is 26 years old which means if he plays well the Bills could use him in their future plans possibly.
Armchair GM Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 http://twitter.com/jay_glazer CHAMPIONSHIP!
Canadian Bills Fan Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Love the move. We have no depth at LB and there is no downside to this move in my eyes
starrymessenger Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 New GM, same dumb ass moves. Lets keep bringing in other teams washouts because the used to be a name and keep sucking. but hey, ralphs cronies read you guys loving these moves so they keep making them and you guys keep flocking to the stadium to fill his pockets So it seems to work for everyone. Perfection!
dave mcbride Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Why do so many on here get so excited on other Teams ****... Merriman was washed up the moment he quit taking Roids, he cant stay healthy and has bad attitude http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/122692-glazer-merriman-to-buffalo/page__view__findpost__p__2025321
DanInUticaTampa Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) Tampa and Miami also put in claims for merriman. Edited November 3, 2010 by DanInUticaTampa
cale Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Love the move. We have no depth at LB and there is no downside to this move in my eyes Exactly we've had little or no production at LB - this guy with his "lack of production" over the past 2 seasons has more production than anyone else in that corp. With the exception of maybe Poz. And even that is debatable. At worse, we get another LB who can't play because he is hurt. BFD...he can take a number. C
Meark Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 There's always the fact that a lobotomized Merriman with the entire left half of his body amputated would still be an upgrade over Kelsay. +1000
