49er Fan Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 ....to start Fitzpatrick and BUF defense this week at home vs. Chicago? Buffalo struggled vs. KC but I think their defense is underrated. Buffalo scored a very respectable 26 vs. JAX in Week 5 and then a whopping 34 vs. BAL in Week 7. I have bye weeks to deal with and all I can hope for is that the Bills notch their first win...? Any thoughts? Quote
KD in CA Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Yes, you are a complete fool. At least as far as the defense. Fitz is a reasonable bye week replacement. Quote

Any thoughts? Maybe, maybe not. Cutler has to be good for at least 3 INT. Maybe the D can take a couple of them to the HOUSE!! Good luck! Quote
Buftex Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Maybe, maybe not. Cutler has to be good for at least 3 INT. Maybe the D can take a couple of them to the HOUSE!! Good luck! Cutler's interception problems are caused by the fact that he is stubborn, and teams are blitzing the hell of the Bears, to force Cutler into mistakes. The Bears O-line is not very good, but neither is the Bills D-line...I know everyone thinks the Bills are going to break through this week...but the Bills defense could be the cure for what ails the Bears...no pass rush, no real play-makers...I think the Bills defense could be in for a long day on Sunday...I wouldn't start the Bills defense...Fitz might not be a bad choice, however. 49er Fan Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 So these defensive options (listed first) are all better than Buffalo.... CIN vs. PIT SEA vs. NYG MIA @ BAL CAR vs. NO SD @ HOU DAL @ GB AZ @ MIN DET vs. NYJ CLE vs. NE Also, Chicago leads the league in sacks allowed with 31, and tied for 2nd worst in the league for INTs (12). I don't know why but I feel like Buffalo could somehow come up with some big plays on D this week. I am reluctant to drop them. Quote
