Chuckknox
Is Nix on vacation this week? Maybe that explains the no action by the Bills. Does anyone know when he gets back into the office?

Does anyone know when he gets back into the office? you really want to try and win 4-5 games this year with Merriman and Moss and let them go at the end of the year. Why are they let go ? Why isn't Merriman signed already ? Why would NE let Moss go and then the Patriots too as well as the vikings and raiders ?
ajzepp
They are on record as wanting to build this team through the draft. They likely aren't going to bring in any big name, overrated, or crippled free agents to take up a roster spot that a younger player could be utilizing. (You may get nailed by the mods for posting this, actually...there are already a lot of other threads and posts discussing this....just sayin')
Chuckknox
0-7, a little help may help Bills avoid 0-16. If they go 0-16, that will never go away - it just get added on to 4 superbowl losses.

nucci
Do you really think Moss would come here? And don't tell me he has to if we claim him either.
bkc
just wondering which Wide reciever you want to sit and slow thier progress to play Moss . If they want to claim Merriman I am fine with that .
DreReed83
I wouldn't mind Merriman but no to Moss. We have NO pass rush what so ever, so how can getting Merriman really hurt us?

It would essentially be an 8 game tryout.

So what? How many teams have won four straight conference championships? There have been other teams that didn't win any games. The Bills wouldn't be the first. What matters is what happens after this year, not what happens this year. This year winning games will not benefit them in the long run now that they are already 0-7. I root for them to win each and every week, but picking up Moss and Merriman will not help this team in the long run.
