/dev/null
Voters across Hampton Roads are making their way to polling places today, and many are eager to vote in the hot 2nd District Congressional race. Problem is – some of them are not in the 2nd District. Chesapeake Registrar Virginia W. Garrett said she’s gotten calls about the fact that candidates Scott Rigell and Glenn Nye are not on the ballot. But Rigell and Nye are not running in Chesapeake. “We’ve been getting calls that their candidate is not listed on our voting machines,” Garrett said. “We tell them, ‘Sorry but that’s another district.’ ” http://hamptonroads.com/2010/11/officials-minor-problems-polls-voter-turnout-steady?cid=ltst
Just Jack
Gosh, really?! Does that happen everywhere? You mean people in NYC can't vote for Linda McMahon even though her commercials air on TV here?
Nanker
Gosh, really?! Does that happen everywhere? You mean people in NYC can't vote for Linda McMahon even though her commercials air on TV here? No, but they can vote in Brooklyn for Chuck Schumer and then again in Palm Beach for Crist. Don't call them out on it. They'll get really mad and hang their chads at you.
