DFITZ1 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 He cleared the 53-yarder by about 6 yards, both times he kicked it. This is a non-point. You're right. The real point is KC should not have gotten the ball back to end the game.
Bob in STL Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Offensive play calling all 2nd half was quite good, including OT. This coach knows offense... This is a useless point IMO OP... Sorry Totally disagree about OT. How many shots at winning the game did we have? Answer = ZERO. Everytime we got close to a FG we went one dimensional and we passed on every down.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 He cleared the 53-yarder by about 6 yards, both times he kicked it. This is a non-point. It absolutely is a valid point. You don't play to get your FG kicker in a position to kick really long, low percentage field goals. They needed to play end of regulation and OT with the mindset of trying to win the game.
