plenzmd1 Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Not really, considering the cap will grow exponentially over that time. Four years from now only about $9.5 million will be left. If they have to cut him at that point, amortized over 2 seasons that'll be about $5 million. That sounds like alot of dead money, but it'll probably be about 5%. 152614[/snapback] Think I read the other day the new cap will be over $100m, that is when the new TV contracts kick in. The story was related to how washington, even with the money given to bruneel, portis, springs etc, wont put them in cap hell because the cap will be about 30% higher when these guys need to be cut. Hope TD is thinking about this when looking at Phat Pat and JJ
Guest Guest Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Yes because Polian has won way more Super bowls than TD...Oh yeah thats right 0. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

I don't think RW has the kind of cash like evil snyder to pay huge bonuses for JJ and PW and our draft picks (especially if we can recoup a 1st rounder).
