They were even saying the last true storm like this (low centered in the Uupper Lakes) was in 1975 when the "gales of November" (of course this was October) came early and the Edmund Fitz went down.

I had finally got the song out of my head after hearing it last week and now it is back!

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down

Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee

The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead

When the skies of November turn gloomy.

Unfortunaley, South Bend is near the "south bend" on the third biggest Great Lake: Mishigami.

Don't play Crayonz' game... That one is as old as the hills around here!;)

Dude; the guy that turned Mormon/Islamic and moved out of the US? No. I don't like that dude at all?

I saw that he dropped his last name and now just goes by Yusuf. Great convictions he has, huh?

To be fair, Yusuf Lightfoot is a pretty stupid sounding name.

Particularly since "Yusuf" is Pashtu for "agile". "Light of feet" Lightfoot?

Kelly is ultimately in charge. He should be fired immediately, like any other boss in any other profession would have been. Jason Whitlock shares the same sentiment and had a great article on it at foxsports.

Bumping just to make aware that the President of Notre Dame admitted that the Univ is soley responsible for what happened and said it should take full blame. It happened yesterday, I got a text from ESPN. My guess is that the Uni may have already settled with the family, otherwise they are fools for admitting this.

The family can also go after the lift company, the electrical company, and maybe even the wind company...it worked for the fire at the club in Rhode Island, wasn't that the place? I mean, why not?
