nodnarb Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Bills | Campbell Injury Update - from www.KFFL.com Wed, 8 Dec 2004 12:00:49 -0800 Updating previous reports, Buffalo Bills TE Mark Campbell (knee) has torn ligaments in his knee and will miss the remainder of the 2004 season. Bills | Euhus Likely Out for the Year - from www.KFFL.com Wed, 8 Dec 2004 12:00:12 -0800 Buffalo Bills TE Tim Euhus (knee) is expected to miss the remainder of the 2004 season due to ligament damage in his knee. That fuggin Miami game was costly. Neufeld, Peters and Trafford are now IT.
ICE Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Ok so now we are down to 2 #2 TE's. We honestly never had a #1

Guest Guest Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Ok so now we are down to 2 #2 TE's. We honestly never had a #1 152343 2 #2's and a tackle (Peters)
34-78-83 Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Time for more 3 WR sets. Hope JR and Aiken are up to the task.....
JinVA Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 I wasn't too concerned with Campbell being lost based on the Euhus way has played as of late, but this could really hurt our offense.
PIZ Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Campbell was number 1. 152349 A number 1 that was a number 2 is what he meant, and he is right. Now we need some quality 3's that can play like number 2's, or some 2's that can play like 1's.
BillsNYC Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 when did this happen???? 152351 Yeah really? He returned to the game???
kota Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 This offense was built around having Blocking TE's which is why there hasn't been a dominant TE in the game. Campbell has the best hands of the bunch and seems to come up with Big plays when needed. It sucks that he is gone. I liked Euhus as well.
Like A Mofo Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Yep, no big deal, every team has elite TE's right??
MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Maybe Trafford is the next Antonio Gates? If only...
Alaska Darin Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Maybe Trafford is the next Antonio Gates? If only... 152376 Yeah, I doubt Mularkey wouldn't recognize TE talent...
MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Yeah, I doubt Mularkey wouldn't recognize TE talent... 152381 Man the "what ifs" with guys like Gates and even Jason Witten, who the Bills had a shot at in last year's draft...
Alaska Darin Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Man the "what ifs" with guys like Gates and even Jason Witten, who the Bills had a shot at in last year's draft... 152384 You can say it every year. I'm sure there are a few teams wishing they'd taken McGee, for example.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 You can say it every year. I'm sure there are a few teams wishing they'd taken McGee, for example. You can definitely say that every year. Although I'd say the Bills did a pretty good job with their UDFA's this year.
PastaJoe Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 How about having Shelton line up as the TE in the one-back formations.
stuckincincy Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Peters will fill in. TE is not a part of this passing offense, because they have to stay home to resist the opponent's game plan against DB. Push come to shove, Haggan might see some spot duty at that spot, BTW.
ICE Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Campbell was number 1. 152349 Ok let me clarify...Unless he is a Crumpler, Gonzalez, Shockey etc....he isn't a '#1' TE. We have about 10 #2 calibre TE's on this team.
BillsNYC Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 We're trusting our playoff hopes to THIS guy: http://www.buffalobills.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=122567
