Erik Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 And on cue, there's the pumpkin. Nice coverage Donte. Having a game for the ages. Pretty sure Byrd blew that one. Just because Donte ended up being the closest doesn't mean he's the one who blew the coverage.
jamestown-cuse Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So much for hootin and hollerin! I'm embarassed once again
PromoTheRobot Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Looks bad but the game isn't over. Worst thing we can do is get conservative now. PTR
Nasty Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Ok time for a new coach with brains. Why no running backs in the first play of the second half. What we were doing in the first wasn't working good enough of what? We were running between the tackles so well in the first half instead of giving our guys confidence and keep building on it lets spread the field and let Fitz throw. That was a move DJ would have made.
zonabb Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Whitner chasing down another TD. Seriously, he sucks but the fact the coaches keep trotting him out there makes it more frustrating. Pull him and put anyone in his place.
DrFishfinder Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 who is #20 who was so-called covering on that TD?
BRH Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Pretty sure Byrd blew that one. Just because Donte ended up being the closest doesn't mean he's the one who blew the coverage. Probably true. But Donte gets no benefit of the doubt in my book.
DrFishfinder Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Looks bad but the game isn't over. Worst thing we can do is get conservative now. PTR Agreed. Need to keep it up. Worst thing would be to tone Fitz down.
Sisyphean Bills Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Seeing a ton of hits at the knees this weekend. The frequency of devastating knee injuries is probably going to go up.
agardin Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 as they said, 17 points in 1:12 seconds. Oh my Bills always find a way to screw things up.
BRH Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 And by the way, the NFL just shows how hypocritical it is by letting Heap even play after what happened to him last week. So much for protecting its players.
Gabe Northern Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Let's hope we never see Cornell Green on the field again. Unless one of the dipsticks defending Whitner wishes to chime in on his behalf too.
muffmonster Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 bad teams find ways to lose... It is the truth, BUT absolutely stupid "rules" don't help either.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 And by the way, the NFL just shows how hypocritical it is by letting Heap even play after what happened to him last week. So much for protecting its players. Too true man.
RuntheDamnBall Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Darryl Talley says that the other DB blew coverage and it wasn't Whitner's man. I guess I'm inclined to believe Talley, but to me it says it all that #20 considers himself a leader of the defense.
DrFishfinder Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 You put up 24 points on the Ravens, you should win that game. D needs to step it up big time. Helluva good spot.
Fan in Chicago Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Thats a dangerous throw to Evans. Good it wasnt INTed.
